Story behind the Name
Kaviru represents the magical bioluminescence effect seen on coastal beaches at night. Children from coastal regions would draw lines on water-soaked sand, watching this natural wonder blink in rhythm with their movements—a mesmerizing gift from nature. At Kaviruu, we believe that when you share your stories and experiences on our platform, they too will shine brightly for the world to see.
Founded by Mr. Ibin Nayakam, Kaviruu.com combines his academic background in Mass Communication with the unique perspectives gained from his childhood in a fishermen community. To learn more about Ibin, click here.
Initially, Kaviruu began as Ibin Nayakam’s personal blog, featuring travelogues and storytelling. Over time, it grew into a platform dedicated to offering meaningful content and fostering media literacy.
